before you want to change the world, look around you
“-we require something like a mental gyration on the heel.
We need so rapid a revolution of all things about the central point of sight that,
while the minutiæ vanish altogether, even the more conspicuous objects become blended into one.
Among the vanishing minutiæ, in a survey of this kind, would be all exclusively terrestrial matters.
The Earth would be considered in its planetary relations alone.
A man, in this view, becomes mankind; mankind a member of the cosmical family of Intelligences.”
Where to look
maybe:
– How can you protect yourself from the negative influences
– recurring negative thoughts, overwhelming bad feelings
– people around you who always see the wrong in everything
– noises that don’t feel right, words, phrases, rhythms, melodies, sound vibrations
– visual stimuli of everyday life, posters, TV, other media
– the places you exist in and their atmosphere
– your degree of freedom or bondage
– you already do everything for your own health

The three monkeys, unlike those in the high-priced shops, are not just a bunch of buffoons sitting in Nikko, the Toshogu shrine. They don’t just sit in shrines. The universal message has been turned into a booby by modern culture. In English, I know without question that everyone thinks they know what it represents, but they don’t:
非禮勿視,非禮勿聽,非禮勿言,非禮勿動
Confucius, the Chinese scribe (si 士) and later teacher of the 6th-5th centuries BC, is best known for his interpretation of the 3 most famous monkey imagery, probably with Buddhist ancestry: don’t see if it is inappropriate, don’t hear if it is inappropriate, don’t speak if it is inappropriate, don’t move if it is inappropriate
And in modern IT terms: it means making the right and conscious choice of input and output What is right? It’s different for everyone. What feels compatible with the system, which doesn’t make you feel bad.
A well-functioning system ideally lets in the information it needs, not what flows out.
And it couples outwards in a constructive way, not destroying the rest of the network. In an ideal world, it would be 100% feasible, -but we do have a say!
-Build, so that you can build, and so that you can attach well to the outside!-
